EF-111A
Raven

A United States Air Force EF-111A Raven prepares to taxi out at dusk. The Raven is an electronic countermeasures aircraft capable of cruising at more than Mach 2.2. The photo was a publicity shot taken at Grumman Aircraft in New York. The cockpit is empty and the wings are fully swept back, the "high speed" position. A Grumman Crew Chief, Russ Doyle, is crouched behind the nose gear holding a portable spotlight to get the "star effect" in the picture.

This particular aircraft was 66-041, the prototype for the EF-111A program.
